Bank of India a leading public sector bank invites application from candidates who appeared for IBPS examination. The requirement for the General Banking Officer post is laid down below:

Total Vacant seats: 1800 (SC-286/ST-184/OBC-460/GEN-870)

Age Band: 21-30 Years (as on 1^st July 2011). Relaxations do apply.

Pay Scale: Rs 14500-600(7)-18700-700(2)-20100-800(7)-25700

Educational Criteria: Graduation with at least 60% marks in aggregatefrom a recognised university.

IBPS Score:     

                                     Total Weighted Score for General Candidates: 130

 Total Weighted Score for Reserved(SC/ST/OBC/PWD) Candidates: 117

Selection Mode: The Bank will be calling candidates who satisfy the above mentioned criteria in the ratio 1:3. These candidates will be interviewed and a merit list will be prepared on the basis of Interview marks and Written marks.  

Application Procedure:

Application Fee: Rs 200/-(for UR/OBC candidates) and Rs 50/-(for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates) is to be paid by a payment challan which can be downloaded from the bank’s website. The fee is to deposited in any branch of the bank. The payment of fee is to be done between 19^th January 2012 and 31^st  January 2012.
