CRPF which runs under Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India invites application from male and female candidates to fill the following vacancies which are likely to be made permanent:

Post: Asst. Sub Inspector (Stenographer Grade-III)
Number of Vacancies: 103 (UR-38,OBC-27,SC-22,ST-16)
Age Band: 18-25 Years (on the date 16th November 2010). Relaxations do apply.
Pay Scale: Rs 5,200-20,200 Grade pay 2800 (Min. Rs 8560/- p.m)
Eligibility criteria: 12th or equivalent Passed and efficient in computers norms of which are given in detailed advertisement.
Health : The candidates should fulfill the medical and physical standards as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

Post: Asst. Head Constable (Ministerial)
Number of Vacancies: 273 (UR-18,OBC-22,SC-8,ST-120,Departmental-74,EXSM-31)
Age Band: 18-25 Years (on the date 16th November 2010). Relaxations do apply.
Pay Scale: Rs 5,200-20,200 Grade pay 2400 (Min. Rs 7510/- p.m)
Eligibility criteria: 12th or equivalent Passed and efficient in computers norms of which are given in detailed advertisement.
Health : The candidates should fulfill the medical and physical standards as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will take tests in two phases as given below:
Phase-I
a.    Checking Documents
b.    Physical measurement
c.    Written Exam
Phase-II
  1. Typing Speed Test (Only on computers)
  2. Short Hand speed test (Only for ASI/Steno)
  3. Checking of documents
  4. Interview
  5. Medical Examination
Application Procedure: The candidates who are willing to apply for the above mentioned posts have to deposit Rs 30/- as fee in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order(IPO). The IPO should be in favour of DIGP, GC-CRPF to whom the application is sent payable at respective head post office. SC/ST candidates are free to apply.
The application filled in the prescribed format with the fee must be sent to any of the centres of the candidate’s choice. The list of which is given in the detailed advertisement.
