RBI invites application from qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies:

 Post: Officer Grade ‘B’ (General)- (Direct Recruitment - DR)

Age Band: 21-30 Years (as on 1^st October 2010). Relaxations do apply. Please refer detailed advertisement for details.

Pay Scale:  Rs 21000-1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400 which boils down to approx. Rs 38,276/-. Exceptional candidates can get more .

Educational Criteria:

• 60% aggregate marks in Graduation, OR
• Min. 55% aggregate marks in Masters Degree OR
• Doctorate Degree with 50% min. aggregate marks at Master degree level, OR
• Chartered/ Cost Accountant/ Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR
• Graduate with MBA/ PGDM

Relaxation for SC/ST/HI candidates is applicable.

Selection Process: The Selection for the required post will done by a written test-objective and descriptive test. The candidate who qualifies the objective test can only give descriptive test and then an interview will be held of those candidates who qualify the written test successfully. 

Application Procedure:

Application Fee: Rs 100/- is to be paid by a demand draft favouring “Reserve Bank of India” payable at Mumbai. SC/ST/PWD candidates are free to apply. The candidates are advised to write their name and address on the reverse of the draft.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply either offline or online. In case the candidate wishes to apply offline then he/she must apply in the prescribed format only and accompany the application with demand draft. Both should be enclosed in an envelope.

Online application can be made through the bank’s website: http://onlinedr.rbi.org.in/ . The candidate need to take out the print out of the filled in application, paste a photograph and with the demand draft enclose it in an envelope.

 The envelope (both for offline and online modes) should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS in Gr.B (General) – (DR)” and then send by ordinary post to the following address:
