Punjab and Haryana High Court invited applications for filling up its contractual basis posts for Clerks at Chandigarh.
Post Name: Clerk
Vacant Positions: 163 (General-134, SC/ST/BC-16, Ex-serviceman-08,PH-05).
Note: Candidates who are belonging to the reserved categories, upper age limits shall be relaxed as follows:
SC/ST/BC/OBC-> 3 years.
Physically handicapped-> 10 years
Ex-serviceman-> by number of years equal to his defense service plus 3 years.
Academic details: (i) Candidates should be BA/ B.Sc or equivalent from a recognized university.
(ii) Efficient in using Computers (Word processing and Spread Sheets).
Pay Scale: Rs.5910-20200/- Plus grade pay of Rs.1900/-
Application Procedure:
Candidates can apply in prescribed application form only. The cost of application form is Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST/BC/OBC P.H./Ex-servicemen). The application form can be obtained by hand on any working day at Gate No.2 of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh between 11.00 A.M. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4 p.m. Candidates ca get the form can by post also by sending a Bank Draft for an amount of Rs.350/- (cost of application form Rs.300/- plus Rs.50/- as postal charges for General Category) and Rs.200/- (cost of application form Rs.150/- plus Rs.50/- as postal charges for Reserved Category) drawn in favor of “Registrar General, Punjab and Haryana High Court” payable at Chandigarh. The envelope should be super scribed as “Request for form for the Post of Clerk”.
Candidates need to submit their applications form on the prescribed form duly filled in with the coordination Branch of Punjab and Haryana High Court on any working day till 5 p.m up-to 24/12/2010.The applications can also be sent by Registered post in the envelop provided with the application form so as to reach latest by 24.12.2010 at 5 p.m.
