About the Mission: Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is an effort to universalize elementary education by community-ownership of the school system. It is a response to the demand for quality basic education all over the country. The SSA program is also an attempt to provide an opportunity for improving human capabilities to all children, through provision of community-owned quality education in a mission mode.
Details:
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Authority Punjab invited application from graduate candidates to fill up its vacant posts for ETT Teachers on contractual basis for a period of 1 year.
Post Name: ETT Teachers
Age limits (as on 01/12/2010): 18-37 years
Salary: Rs 14,000 per month (fixed).
Academic details:
(i) 10+2 with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/BC) from a recognized Board/University.
(ii) Two year Elementary Teacher training course recognized by Punjab Govt. or equivalent diploma of any other state or UT recognized by Punjab Govt./NCTE.
Note: The candidate must be a domicile of Punjab state only.
Application procedure:
Application Fee: Rs 250/-(Rs 125/- for SC candidates) is to be paid through a demand draft/ postal order drawn in favour of "State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan" payable at Chandigarh along with the admit card/ Registration slip on the day of written examination at the venue of the examination centre.

The Registration no. generated in the form should be written at the back of the demand draft/Postal order along with the name of the candidates. Candidates can download their admit card from the website: http:// recruitment.cdacmohali.in by entering their registration number and password provided to them earlier.
