The Bank invites application from eligible candidates to fill its clerical cadre vacancies in different states of India:

Eligibility Conditions:

Post Name: Clerk

Age Band: 18-28 Years both inclusive (as on 1^st November 2010). Relaxations do apply.

Pay Scale: Rs 7200-19300. This totals out to Rs 11,000/- in Metro cities plus there will be some other benefits.

Educational Criteria:

·         Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by Central Government.

          OR

·         A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11^th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/ Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration.

        OR

·         A pass with 60%(50% in case of SC/ST/PC/EXSM) marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10^th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent.

Other Criteria Through which SC/ST/PC/EXSM are eligible

 ·         A pass in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11^th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or equivalent examination.

 

Selection Process: The Selection will be done by a written test(objective and descriptive) followed by an interview.

Application Procedure:

Application Fee: Rs 250/-(General and OBC Candidates) OR Rs 50/- (SC/ST/PC) candidates through a fee payment receipt is to be deposited in any CBS branch of Central Bank of India. The fee receipt can be downloaded from the bank’s website and is to be filled in Capital letters.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only through bank’s website. They need to have a valid email id for the purpose as the bank will communicate through it. They need to fill in the details in the online application form carefully and correctly as any discrepancies may lead their candidature to be cancelled. The candidate should keep a hard copy of the application form with him/her for future reference.
