About The Institute: Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) functions under the Science and Technology Department, Government of Gujarat. It is the only institute in India which is completely dedicated to seismological research. ISR has established in its new campus seismic data analysis centre, Geotechnical Lab, Global Positioning System Lab, Engineering seismology Lab, Optically Stimulated Luminescence Lab for dating of sediments. Engineering Geophysics Lab, Gravity & Magnetics Lab, Electrical and electromagnetic lab.

1. Post Name: Director

Vacant Seats: 1

Education: Ph.D(Geophysics)

Experience Status: 15 years in Earth Science.

Maximum Age Limit: 45 years.

Pay Structure : Rs 37,400-Rs 67,000 plus Grade pay Rs 10,000/-

2. Post Name: Scientist-D

Vacant Seats: 2

Education: M.Tech/M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc.Geophysics/Geology/Physics

Experience Status: 7 years in Earth Science.

Maximum Age Limit: 37 years.

Pay Structure : Rs 15,600-Rs 39,100 plus Grade pay Rs 7,600/-

3. Post Name: Scientist-C

Vacant Seats: 2

Education: M.Tech/M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc.Geophysics/Geology/Physics

Experience Status: 5 years in Earth Science.

Maximum Age Limit: 35 years.

Pay Structure : Rs 15,600-Rs 39,100 plus Grade pay Rs 6,600/-

4. Post Name: Scientist-B

Vacant Seats: 8

Education: M.Tech/M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc.Geophysics/Geology/Physics

Experience Status: 1 years in Earth Science.

Maximum Age Limit: 32 years.

Pay Structure : Rs 15,600-Rs 39,100 plus Grade pay Rs 5,400/-
