About the Organisation: Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) was set up in 1970 and runs under the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India. It is the top level organisation which is responsible for providing scientific inputs for management, exploration, monitoring, assessment, augmentation and regulation of ground water resources of the country.

The organisation wants to fill its vacant posts of Technical Operator(Drilling) and invites application from qualified candidates for the purpose:
Post: Technical Operator (Drilling), Group ‘C’
Age Band: 18-27 years .For Govt. servants, candidates who belong to General Category can max. 40 years and candidates who are from SC/ST category can be of 45 years.
Educational Criteria: 10th from a recognised board or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Certificate from ITI in Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic or Wielding.
Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs 5,200-Rs 20,200 + GP Rs 1800/-
