Union Bank wants to fill its vacancies in the Clerical Cadre and needs candidates who have the following qualification:
Name of Post: Clerk-Cum-Cashier.
No. of Posts: 1640(SC-221, ST-172, OBC-520, GEN-727) Out of which VI-31, HI-31, OC-8, TOT-70, XSM-237.
Age Limit (01/11/2010): 18-28 years. Both dates are inclusive.
Note: Relaxation in age is applicable.
Scale of Pay: Rs.7200-Rs19300 plus DA, HRA, CCA. Conveyance Allowance, Gratuity, Pension, LFC, Medical Aid, Reimbursement of Hospitalization & other expense as the Bank Rules permit.
Academic Details: Candidate should have secured at least 60% total marks in 12th standard or should be possess a Graduate Degree from a UGC recognized University.
Computer Skills: Computer Basics, DOS, MS Office, Internet and E-Mail from a Computer Training Institute of duration of minimum 60 hours.
Application Procedure:
Application Fee: Rs.300/- for General and OBC candidates only is to be deposited in any branch of Union Bank of India in cash through the fee challan.
Candidate’s are required to submit the application only through a online procedure by visiting the bank’s website. The online application is to be made after submission of the fees, if applicable.
Note: Candidate’s are instructed there is no need to send the system generated print-out application form and other documents at the time of applying. These will be required only when invited for the personal Interview.
Selection Procedure: Selection would be made on the basis of Written Examination on 06/02/2011 followed by personal interview for selected candidates.
Probation Period: The selected candidates will be required to serve a probation period of six months.
