About The Organisation: SAMEER-Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research is a Government of India Undertaking which was set up as an autonomous Research and Development laboratory under the Department of Electronics. It does R&D work in areas like Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic Engineering Technology. The Electromagnetics centre of Chennai was merged with SAMEER in 1987. SAMEER-CEM, Chennai does R&D,Consultancy,test and evaluation services in the field of electromagnetics and antennas, EMI/EMC, communications and thermal management.

SAMEER-Centre for Electromagnetics, Chennai is looking for dynamic candidates to fill its vacancies in the following disciplines on contract basis of three years:
1. Post Name: Research Scientist
Age Limit: 28 years maximum on the date of joining.Relaxation applicable for deserving candidates.
Educational Qualification: Min. 65% aggregate marks in BE/B.Tech(Electronics and Communication) from any Government recognised institution.
Pay Structure: Rs 20,250/-(consolidated) with an annual increment of Rs 1000/-. Higher pay can be considered in case of PG candidates depending how they fare in their interview.
Preferred: Candidates having experience in Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility and EDA tools.
2. Post Name: Project Assistant
No. Of Posts: 6
Age Limit: 25 years maximum on the date of joining.Relaxation applicable for deserving candidates.
Educational Qualification: Min. 75% aggregate marks in Diploma degree in Electronics and Communication from any Government recognised institution.
Pay Structure: Rs 10,470/-(consolidated) with an annual increment of Rs 700/-. Higher pay can be considered in case of deserving candidates depending how they fare in their interview.
Preferred: Candidates having experience in Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility.
