Age Criteria: Max. 40 years as on 30.11.2010.
Pay Scale: Rs 9,300/-Rs 34,800/- plus GP Rs 4,800/-
Educational Qualification:
  • For Post Code 11 to 20: Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject. Details of post and the relevant subject in which the candidate should have Master’s Degree along with the qualification code is given in the detailed advertisement.

  • For Post Code 21: The candidate should have minimum 50% total marks in any of the following disciplines:
a.    BE/B.Tech(CS/IT) or an equivalent Degree or Diploma from a recognized University.
OR
b.    B.E/B.Tech(any branch) and PG Diploma in Computers from a recognised  University. OR
c.    M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ Master in Computer Application or Equivalent from a recognized University OR
d.    B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University OR
e.    Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University OR
f.     ‘A’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject OR
g.    ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology
  • For Post Code 22 : The candidate should have minimum 50% total marks in any of the following disciplines:
a.      MSc/M.Tech (Bio-Technology) OR
b.     MSc(Genetics) OR
c.     MSc(Microbiology) OR
d.    MSc(Life Sciences/Bio Sciences) OR
e.    MSc(Bio-Chemistry)

Note: All qualifications have codes which are given in the detailed advertisement. Also the candidate applying must have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.

Application Fee: Rs 780/-(Rs 750/- plus Rs 30/- service charges) is to be paid through a challan which is available on KVS’s website.SC/ST/Women/EXSM/PH candidates are free to apply. This fee is to be deposited in Indian Bank branch only as the challan is for this bank only. The fee is to be deposited into Account no. 405046333 with the Indian Bank, Mehrauli Institutional Area, New Delhi–110016 (Branch Code: 943).

Candidates should note that while applying through a bank other than Indian Bank the Challan/Counter Foil/Cash Receipt Voucher/Pay-in slip of the Bank consists of the following details:

§ UTR No./Deposit Journal Number and Date

Note: The Candidates should keep a copy of challan with them for future reference.

Application Procedure:

  • Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online only. Before applying online they need to have a scanned image file(preferably in ‘jpg’) of their passport size photograph and signature with them. They need to deposit the fee through challan in Indian Bank or any other bank as given above. Then after depositing they should have a copy of challan duly signed and stamped with deposit journal number. The candidates need to fill the application form online and mention journal number at appropriate place. They need to send this challan received from bank along with the system generated application form in original.                                                                                                                                           
  • The candidates should sign the system generated application form and people who were not able to upload their photo and signature should paste two photograghs, one attested by a Gazette officer and other not attested. The candidate should sign at required places.
  • The candidate should accompany the print out with copies of all supporting documents pertaining to age, education, experience etc.(details are given in the advertisement).  
  •  One self addressed and self stamped post card stamped worth Rs 6/- should be send along with application print out, fee payment challan and copies of supporting documents.
  •  All this should be enclosed in an envelope and send by ordinary post to the following address:
