The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites application from experienced and excellent academic background candidates in to the following disciplines:
Academics for all posts: PhD with first class in the relevant branch or equivalent.
Name of post: Professor
Pay Details: PB4 (Rs.37400-67000) with AGP of Rs. 10500/-per month. Rs 48000/- minimum for direct recruited candidates.
Experience: At least 10 years in teaching/research/industry, out of which 4 years experience for Associate Professor at an equivalent level such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or equivalent.
Name of Post: Associate professor
Pay Details:PB4 (Rs 37400-67000) plus AGP of Rs. 9500/-per month. Rs 42800/- minimum for direct recruited candidates.
Experience: At least 6 years in teaching/research/industry out of which 4 years minimum experience for Assistant Professor at an equivalent level such as IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIM, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or equivalent.
Name of Post: Assistant Professor
Age limit: 35 years maximum preferred.
Pay Details: PB3 (15600-39100) plus AGP of Rs. 8000/-per month. Rs 30000/- minimum for direct recruited candidates.
Experience: At least 3 years in teaching/research/industry.
