About The Organisation: Life Insurance Corporation of India is a Government Organisation which was set up on 1 September, 1956, with the aim of spreading life insurance to a broader area than it did at that time and in particular to the rural areas. - Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalists): 250
- Assistant Administrative Officer (CA): 100
- Assistant Administrative Officer (Legal): 20
- Assistant Administrative Officer (Company Secretary): 05
Post Name: Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalists)
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree holder from a recognised University in India with at least 55% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in either of degrees.
Age Limit: 21-30 years, both inclusive (as on 1.11.2010). Relaxations applicable.
Pay Structure: Rs 17240- Rs 32640. This comes down to approx Rs 27000/- in a city like Mumbai.
Post Name: Assistant Administrative Officer (Chartered Accountant)
Educational Background: ICAI
Age Limit: 21-30 years, both inclusive (as on 1.11.2010). Relaxations applicable.
Pay Structure: Rs 17240- Rs 32640. This comes down to approx Rs 27000/- in a city like Mumbai. Candidates with 2 years of work experience will be eligible for two advance increments.

Educational Background: ICSI
Age Limit: 21-30 years, both inclusive (as on 1.11.2010). Relaxations applicable.

Post Name: Assistant Administrative Officer (Legal)
Educational Background: At least 55% total marks in LLB
Experience Status: 3 years at the Bar.
Age Limit: 21-30 years, both inclusive (as on 1.11.2010). Relaxations applicable.

Application Procedure:
Application Fee: Rs 400/- is to be paid by candidates (SC/ST/PH candidates are free to apply) through cash at any cash collection centre of LIC. They will get a miscellaneous receipt after depositing the fee which will contain transaction number, transaction date branch code & miscellaneous collection number,. The candidate should also ensure that Account Code No. 114033 is there in the receipt given to them.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply online only through the organisation’s website. After filling the application form they will get a unique application registration number. They need to save it for future reference. Also, they need to take out two print outs of the system generated application form to be used at the time of written/interview.
